The Richmond Company’s primary business is retail development. We’ve developed everything from single-tenant stores to grocery-anchored shopping centers, and regional power centers. In the process, we’ve built long-standing relationships with some of the most respected national and regional retailers: Walgreen’s Pharmacy, the Stop & Shop Supermarket Company, Irving Oil, and others. We understand each of our customer’s individual needs and requirements in depth. This foundation enables us to seek and acquire sites that generate high customer traffic and sales. We solicit input from the tenant and the community to develop a blended solution.

Richmond’s proposal to relocate the Atlanticare Hospital and redevelop the eight acre site, was selected over 31 other responses to a competitive RFP. Consistent with the requirement to keep all of Atlanticare’s services available to the community, Richmond located an alternative site for Atlanticare then demolished the aging, former Lynn Hospital complex.
