Richmond’s proposal to relocate the Atlanticare Hospital and redevelop the eight acre site, was selected over 31 other responses to a competitive RFP. Consistent with the requirement to keep all of Atlanticare’s services available to the community, Richmond located an alternative site for Atlanticare then demolished the aging, former Lynn Hospital complex.
